It looks like the rumors were true: Amazon has just launched Amazon Prime Music with a million-plus songs and unlimited streaming with no ads. As we noted earlier, the service is free to Prime members who've paid $79 to $119 for a subscription, and Amazon clearly hopes that it'll be yet another carrot to lure new members. The site has already been well stocked with playlists like "Powerful Women of Pop" along with albums and songs, all marked at $0.00 for Prime members. The service is ready to go, as we were able to successfully sign up ourselves and start listening to music. However, we're still waiting to hear from Amazon for more details, so stay tuned for more updates.
