BT said last week its TV customers would soon be able to access Netflix on their YouView set-top boxes. The news confirmed an earlier rumour that also named TalkTalk, which uses YouView hardware for its TV offering, as a potential Netflix partner. We suspected it was only a matter of time before TalkTalk made its own announcement, and today, it's done just that. Netflix will indeed be available through its YouView boxes, too, and like the BT partnership, TalkTalk customers can simply add a subscription to the video streaming service onto the monthly bill they already receive. TalkTalk may've been beaten to press, but it's starting to roll Netflix out to boxes today, whereas BT's still working out the finer details. At this point, it might be time for YouView owners that've purchased a box outside of a TalkTalk or BT package to start complaining about being left out. We would've expected some word from them by now, but YouView is putting on an event later today, so we'll get our hats seasoned just in case they become tonight's dinner.
