Although it was unveiled at the tail end of last year, pricing for the Apple Watch has remained elusive -- until today. If you've been waiting to get your hands on Cupertino's new wearable, we now know that the very least you will pay is £299. Here's how it works out: the Apple Watch Sport starts at £299 and rises to £339 depending on the type of band (38mm or 42mm) you choose. Same goes for the Apple Watch, which starts at £479 and rises to £949 if you select the most premium design options available to you.
Then there's the 18-karat gold Apple Watch Edition. As expected, we're talking luxury pricing, which means you'll need to pay at least £8,000 to secure yourself what Apple calls "the most beautiful expression" of its smart wearable. You'll have the choice of either custom rose or yellow 18-karat gold alloys too, if customisation is your thing. If the price isn't enough to put you off (or you're keen on grabbing one of the more robust models), pre-orders will open on April 10th before going on general sale on April 24th.
